Why Support Us?
Cedar Ridge Preserve is in a part of Dallas County where Blackland Prairie meets the exposed, fossil ladened, Balcones limestone escarpment. The resulting hilly terrain, heavily wooded areas, and beautiful prairies cannot generally be found at one single site. As a result, the Preserve is a popular destination for school field trips, hikers, bird watchers, nature lovers, and people who just want to get away from the big city. The Preserve also provides safe harbor for threatened and endangered animal and plant species and habitats.

DONATE
Cedar Ridge Preserve relies on generous donations to help Audubon Dallas (the local chapter of the National Audubon Society) a volunteer-based, nonprofit environmental organization.
