As a chapter of the National Audubon Society, Audubon Dallas is dedicated to conserving birds, wildlife, and their habitats in North Texas. The organization manages the 633-acre Cedar Ridge Preserve, which hosts 500,000 visitors annually and offers over nine miles of hiking trails through diverse ecosystems.

We provide educational programs, birding events, and volunteer opportunities to foster community engagement in conservation efforts. Through stewardship of natural areas and community outreach, Audubon Dallas plays a vital role in preserving the region’s biodiversity and fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Cedar Ridge Preserve

Managed by Audubon Dallas, the preserve offers approximately nine miles of hiking trails that wind through diverse habitats, including native prairies, woodlands, and butterfly gardens.
