Costa Rica: A Life-Changing Birding Trip
Connie Sandlin, VP Field Trips for Audubon Dallas, has been both a leader and a follower on birding trips for many years to many locales, but it was birding in Costa Rica that has made the biggest impact on her life. With 850 species of birds (including 51 species of hummingbirds), Costa Rica is a paradise for birdwatchers. Connie will share photos and stories about her encounters with volcanos, birds, mammals, and other wildlife in this beautiful country to which she and her husband are moving in October. Door prizes will also be awarded.
2nd DFW Swift Night Out on Friday, Sept. 12, at 7:30 to celebrate Chimney Swifts (More details on Field trip Page)
